QVC open box return item. Boxes and packaging of return items have varying levels of damage. I do not think that the lights work because the battery doesn't seem to be able to charge. I inspect all items for damage, cosmetic flaws and functionality. I do not test timers. The packaging and boxes of these items have varying levels of damage as they have been shipped to multiple locations before arriving to me. If you are buying this as a gift for someone, the packaging will more than likely not be in pristine condition. Although I do inspect all items, sometimes I miss something or make a mistake.
